[April Freebie] Safe & Non-Toxic Laundry Detergent (50 Free Loads)

Non-toxic laundry detergent
We're back! I apologize for the hiatus in March - things got a bit crazy with getting ready for our Florida vacation, and I fell behind on posting... I had intended to catch up this weekend, but we returned to the devastating news that one of our dearest friends had passed away unexpectedly, and the funeral was this Saturday...

It has been a sad week, but I'm happy to be able to share this month's freebie with you today, along with my plan to bring you more helpful posts this month, as well as an updated website theme, which is long-overdue (coming soon).

This month, I'm sharing an offer from a company whose products I have been trying out this year for the first time. In my effort to reduce plastic use this year, I've been switching some of my personal care products to plastic-free, but hadn't yet found a good solution for household cleaning items. Although I've been using natural and non-toxic cleaners for many years now, they usually still come in bulky plastic containers, and even though they're usually recyclable, I would really rather cut down on purchasing plastic packaging wherever possible.

Then I discovered Truly Free. This eco-conscious company is based in Michigan, and they offer all sorts of non-toxic cleaning products with much less packaging than most. They provide a free container on your first order, and then you simply purchase refills, which are packaged in small pouches made from recyclable plastic (they can go right into your grocery bag recycling bins at most supermarkets and big-box stores).

So far, I have been really impressed with most of the products we've tried. They work well, don't have an unpleasant fragrance, and are safe for our septic system. Plus, you get free stuff with every order! :-) - AND they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all their products.

This month, in honor of "National Laundry Day" (which apparently is April 15 - who knew??), they are offering 50 free loads of their non-toxic laundry detergent with your first order. Click here to check it out, or learn more about this special offer below.

Did you know... National Laundry Day is just a few weeks away, on April 15th!

It’s not like we need an excuse to do laundry…but have you ever thought about what's in the ‘go to’ soap our moms swore by?

Here’s some scary facts:
  1. 99% of them contain harmful chemicals that seep into your clothes…
  2. When these garments rub against your skin, they enter your bloodstream...
  3. And can set off an alarming chain of health problems in your body… including weight gain! 😨

That’s right. If your pants are feeling a little bit tighter these days, don't blame your dryer or your diet.

Because it could be the phthalates in your detergent!

Phthalates not only contribute to the production of more and BIGGER fat cells, but they also interfere with metabolism and appetite…

Which can lead to overeating and weight gain. They're the #1 obesogen that you should avoid!

The good news is the folks at Truly Free Home have a MUCH healthier alternative:

Non-toxic laundry care that's gentle on your clothes, easy on your body and kind to our planet too! 🌍💚

And to celebrate National Laundry Day in style, they're giving away 50 FREE Loads Of Truly Free Laundry Wash.

So you can remove tough stains and make your clothes last longer… Without exposing your family and yourself to obesogens, carcinogens, and other toxic chemicals.

Grab your free laundry soap here... 🎉

But don't just take my word for it - here’s what other families are saying about it:

"The hardest part of ditching toxic laundry detergent was finding something that I liked the scent and performed well. I love this scent! And I love that I never have to buy another plastic jug again. I have been using this brand for over a year and am still so happy with it."
--Lacy S.

"Clothes come out clean and smelling fresh.

I was a little concerned with how small the jug seemed to be, but it is actually so much easier to handle, and not a big deal to refill when you have the next pouch on hand.

The reusable jug and refill pouches are a great concept! I think all detergent companies should make the switch to keep so many plastic bottles out of the landfills."

--Heather R.

"Love it!!

I have tried many other environmentally friendly laundry products but Truly Free is “truly” the best!

It leaves my clothes fresh and clean with no aftermath of dyes or additives!!"

--Debbie R.

"We have a keeper!
The search for a clean detergent that works and doesn't stretch out fabric has finally ended.

Although I typically prefer unscented, the smell is pleasant and doesn't give me a headache (unlike traditional scented detergents).

Even picky hubby likes it. THANK YOU!!"

--Erika A.
